5 Easy Steps to Revamp Your Digital Marketing
What have you done for your business lately? If the answer is “not much,” it might be time to give your digital marketing a much needed overhaul. It’s easy to overthink or procrastinate, but follow these five steps and your brand will be turning heads in no time!
Copywriting
Good writing is the foundation of effective marketing and critical to getting your message out to the world. We’re not talking about cute Instagram captions, but professional and engaging copy that demonstrates your competency in the real estate space. Personal information including your experience is a must, along with long-form (keyword heavy) writing for your website, landing pages, and advertisements. Hire a freelancer or local wordsmith to really make a great impression.

Photography
Don’t be that person using a 10-year-old photo on your website! It’s a great idea to update your professional portrait every year or so, before it gets stale. In addition to basic headshots, having a library of fun but professionally captured ‘lifestyle photos’ is a great resource to have in your marketing toolbox. These can be used across every platform including your website, social media, digital advertisements, email, and print.
Video
Creating video content is the best way to truly grab the attention of your audience, and connect with them on a personal level. No medium really allows your clients (past or future) to get to know you and experience your style better than video. Even a simple on-camera listing intro builds immediate rapport with your viewers, and having at least a few minutes of professional marketing videos is a critical piece of any inbound marketing strategy.

Website
The perfect home for all of your new content is right on your website. Clients doing their ‘due diligence’ will certainly search for you online and what they find is a direct reflection of your work and professionalism. Wether you create a massive SEO driven web presence, or something minimal and to the point, be sure you have a clear call to action, case studies & testimonials, and an easy way for your visitors to get in touch.
Paid Ads
The final piece of your revamp is getting eyes on your beautiful marketing material. These days you’ve got to ‘pay to play,’ but value-wise there is no better value than paid social media ads to deliver your content to precisely the right audience. In any size market, brand awareness is still key to remain top of mind- people need to know you exist! In addition to broad demographic targeting, your client database (you do have a CRM right?) is probably the best place to start. At the end of the day, digital marketing is driven by numbers- the more people that see your marketing, the better. High caliber content is going to generaty high quality leads, so put yourself out there and make this years marketing the best yet.
