This spectacular hunting plantation just outside of Charleston made for incredible cinematic footage and video content.

Just 13 miles from historic downtown Charleston, the 124 acre Thomas Hall Plantation is truly a sportsman’s paradise.  Developed and built by Charleston native Bill Hall, the incredible tract of land (surrounded by conservation easements) is complemented by the custom 7,300 sqft six bedroom, six bath home and adjoining pool with sunset views of Rantowles Creek.

Tallahassee based broker Jon Kohler of Jon Kohler and Associates retained Keen Eye Marketing to create a video marketing campaign for this stunning property.  What was originally planned as a 3-minute narrative video quickly started looking like a mini-documentary as owner Bill Hall thoughtfully explained the nuances of the property and his love for the land.  Instead of cutting out so many beautiful scenes, the production team opted for a nearly 10 minute long overview – perhaps a new Keen Eye record!

The video features interview setups with professional lighting, multiple camera angles, and pro audio.   Cinematic footage around the property is a combination of steadicam movements, detailed telephoto shots, and drone footage from the DJI Inspire 2.  Lifestyle shots of the homeowner, broker, and friends round out the video for additional depth and viewer connection.  

 The team at Keen Eye responded quickly to Kohler’s request for a proposal and had the video produced and ready for review in short order.  This was a truly enjoyable project for our team and we look forward to some more unique productions with Jon Kohler & Associates.
